Job Duties of the Property Manager include but are not limited to:
• Proven ability to lead a high performing leasing team
• Manage leasing and management team under direction of Regional Manager
• Oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and reports
• Ensures a high standard of customer service
• Assist the Leasing Consultant in developing pricing/concessions for the current market
• Monitor sales activity and marketing as directed by the Regional Manager
• Regular follow up and assistance on leads 
• Prepare sales administrative reports (i.e. market surveys)
• Monitor lease renewals
• Monitor all paperwork for accuracy
• Assist with the monitoring of property income and budgets
• Daily/Weekly meetings with leasing and maintenance team members
• Prepare maintenance bids and contract negotiation
• Compiling information for financial reports
• Monitors account receivables for current and prior residents
• Knowledge of landlord tenant law and eviction process when necessary
• Performs deposit accounting for move-outs
• Monitoring of property income/expenses
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecast 
• Supervise the team to ensure that Van Metre standards and market ready inspections are completed effectively
• Train, coach and mentor team members
• Knowledge, training and adherence to local and federal fair housing and Landlord Tenant Laws
• And all other task assigned by the Regional Manager

Qualifications include but are not limited to: 
• 2-3 years of experience in an Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager or similar position
• High School Diploma Required
• Customer service, sales and goal-oriented mindset 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner 
• Yardi Systems experience is a plus
• ARM, CAM, CPM or similar designations/education are a plus
• Undergraduate degree is a plus
