The Health and Civilan Solutions Division (HCSD) of General Dyamics Information Technology is hiring for a Communication Specialist in Fairfax, VA.  The purpose of this role is to support the General Dynamics IT Health and Civilian Solutions Division (HCSD) develop and execute sector and solution marketing plans. The successful individual will partner with sector business development leads, internal subject matter experts, strategic technology partners, and the wider marketing team to develop, execute, measure and refine integrated marketing plans (e.g. social media, website, events, digital, lead generation activities, bid and content marketing).

 

Solution Marketing – The role will support the marketing team position and build brand credibility, across diverse market verticals, for a portfolio of solutions to include: Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security, Customer Experience Solutions, Data Analytics, Health Solutions and Enterprise IT.

 

Strategic Technology Partner Marketing – Working closely with the HCSD Marketing Director, this role will be critical to the development of strategic marketing partnerships with leading technology brands. This will include creating, executing and measuring partner-marketing plans, partner relationship management, and the development of business cases to secure partner funding.

Responsibilities:

    Help manage strategic GDIT technology partner marketing relationshipsAssist in the development of business/marketing plans to secure technology partner fundingBuild and maintain close relationships with the health/federal/commercial business development teamSupport the delivery oftactical activities detailed in the plan to agreed measuresResponsible for helping to execute, measure and refine integrated marketing plansWork with the HCSD marketing team to develop content and messagingCoordination of agencies and media partnersResponsible for supporting additional HCSD marketing team projects and programs (e.g., social media, website maintenance, digital campaign support, event execution)
Education Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.

Qualifications
    3+ years of general marketing experience is requiredExperienced in Business-to-Business/ Business-to-Government/Business-to-Health marketingEducated to degree level or equivalentExperience in cross-channel marketing communicationsProven experience implementing marketing plansCreative, strategic thinker and commercially orientatedExperience with graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferredExperience working for large matrix organizations
