The mission of the Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Programs team is to maximize the physical, emotional and social development of the Navy family. FFR enables a ready Navy force through its Fleet Readiness, Family Readiness and Housing Programs. We service all non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees who work for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) and Bachelor Housing (BH) throughout the Fleet and Family Readiness Program for the Naval District Washington (NDW) Region.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Position is Drug Testing designated
  • This position is to work at JBAB Summer Day Camp.  Training will occur between May 31st and the first day of camp/mid June.This training also requires at least one (1) eight hour Saturday training, between these dates as well as 1-2 evening trainings. Training/work hours will not exceed 40 hours in each week.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    Prior experience working with children and/or youth preferred but not required.

    Must be able to complete all  DON training requirements within specified timeframes.

    Must pass a pre-employment physical, including pre-employment drug testing and provide evidence of immunization and be free from communicable diseases.

    Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
