Large, stable organization in Bethesda is seeking an administrative assistant to support their Accounting team. Position would entail department phones, ordering supplies, managing employee payroll records and business license renewals. Also compile and submit both property tax returns and record Corporate income tax payments as needed. This position is also in charge of various events which include catering meetings; managing event tickets and credit card statements. Ability to manage time and stay organized is key to taking on additional responsibilities as you interact with Owners and various Executives.
Applicants must have an Associate’s degree or higher in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years experience in accounting. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel especially), good communication skills, and the ability to work independently are prerequisites for a successful career.
