Facilities Manager

Key Role:
Coordinate, oversee, or manage repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work. Review work orders to ensure assignments are completed, maintain responsibility for facilities inspections and reports, and coordinate and manage moves, additions, and change activities. Manage capital projects and obtain and review price quotes for the procurement of project parts, services, and labor. Analyze capital project and operating budget and variance reports, manage vendor relationships, and train vendors on work order and billing procedures. Process invoices and ensure the accuracy of cost center coding. Oversee financial or business analyses, including report preparation. Manage individual employees within a single functional or operational area and oversee site preventive maintenance and recycling programs.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Microsoft Outlook and intranet or Internet and the use of a work order system and architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems
-Knowledge of lease and contract documents
-Knowledge of financial terms and principles and intermediate figures, including percentages, discounts, and commissions
-Ability to present information effectively and provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers
-Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
-Ability to leverage analytical and quantitative expertise
-Ability to maintain responsibility for establishing work unit or project deadlines
-Active Top Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree and 4+ years of experience in a professional work environment required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with making decisions using a thorough comprehension of procedures, organizational policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines
-Experience with Legal Attaché facilities
-Ability to travel
-BA or BS degree preferred
-Facility Management Certification
-Interior Design Certification or membership in the International Interior Design Association

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
