Community Connections, a nationally recognized Mental Health agency in Washington DC is looking for energetic individuals to join our Supported Employment team as a Supported Employment Specialists.  Strong candidates will be well organized business-oriented professionals with networking savvy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills who are passionate about working with people with mental health disabilities to become employed.  Must enjoy working out in the community.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

-Developing relationships with employers in order to achieve successful placements;

 

-Assist clients in creating specific job search plans;

 

-Manage a caseload of 20 consumers

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

- Bachelors Degree 

 

- At least one year experience in customer service, supported employment, networking, or sales

 

-Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills

 

-Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and use of the Internet

 

-Works well independently and as part of a team
