State Classification: Social Work Supervisor, Family Services Class 4514
Serve as the technical administrative resource and clinical supervisor with the responsibility of ensuring the operation of the Out-of-Home (Foster Care) program competency across agency multi-disciplinary teams. Coach and facilitate work of staff to enable high performance and develop employee empowerment.
Minimum requirements: Master of Social Work degree, licensed as a certified social worker-clinical (LCSW-C) by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners prior to appointment to social work supervisor positions in State service, and 3 years experience in child welfare or adult services to vulnerable children, individuals or families. Must have supervisory experience, strong planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. FT, benefits, salary range $46,857-$75,012. Positions open until filled.
