Our award wining Vocational Program helps people with psychiatric disorders, to choose, find and maintain employment. Its individualized service has helped thousands of individuals successfully return back to work. If you are interested in psychiatric vocational counseling and becoming a Supported Employment Specialist, you would be given the following responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 16 to 18 clients who are in varies stages of their mental health recovery; assist clients with choosing, finding and maintaining employment; provide job development, vocational counseling and job coaching; work with the business community in regards to networking, marketing the Vocational Program.
You must have your own transportation and be willing to work some evenings and weekends, meeting with clients both at their home and at work. Work hours may vary and do allow for a flexible schedule.
To Qualify for this position, the candidate must: Have a bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field. Prior experience working in mental health is preferred but not required. Have full access to a vehicle, with no more than 2 negative points on your driving record.
