The Sr. Principal Systems Engineer will support Virtualization Engineering and will provide day to day administration, engineering, architecture, and support services in a Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp hosted environment. This position requires a deep practical understanding of virtualization technologies and best practices utilizing Citrix and Nutanix Acropolis. The Virtualization Engineer will also be responsible for design and development work, especially installing new applications to the environment and determining what settings must be applied for functionality.


Additional Responsibilities

    Manage the Citrix infrastructure to include Xendesk and XenApp.Working knowledge of Xenserver and Nutanix virtual host.Active Directory GPO knowledge for Citrix STIG’s and environmental tunning.Maintain and perform all patching and upgrades of Citrix Software.Manage base images and install software.Create Citrix Delivery Groups.Participate in the Merlin Engineering process and attend all meetings as needed.Create and update documentation build and admin guides in relation to Citrix Environments.Configure and manage Citrix NetScaler.
Education 1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 2. Masters Degree preferred.

Qualifications 10-15 years of related systems engineering experience.
