Analyzes functional HSIN requirements and design specifications. Provides support for identification/fixing for problems of HSIN systems to include design/implementation of new applications and enhancements of existing systems. Responsible for understanding the needs of the HSIN program and the realities of commercially available IT products, and support creation/implementation of new products. Provides Tier III support, to include on-call for: Supporting MS Windows, Linux, and virtualization technologies.  Provide engineering support via analysis, design, architecture and technical support. Provide Tier 3 support for ticket resolution. Have a broad knowledge base of the Microsoft, Linux, VMware, Cloud, and SharePoint technologies.

    Must be able to be on-callSupport migration of HSIN applications to AWS CLOUDSupport maintenance of HSIN applications, and technology integrationSupports implementation of updates and releases of HSIN system versionsAutomate tasks to improve efficiency. Knowledge of ScriptingSupport development of HSIN systems documentationSupport implementation of updates and releases of HSIN system versionsSupport development of change requests and submission of CRs to the ICCBCommunicate with the development and engineering groups to coordinate support and response to issuesProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for problem resolutionSupport HSIN systems tuning to maintain availability and operationCommunicates with the appropriate architecture, development, and engineering groups to coordinate support and response to issues.



    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

    Masters Degree preferred.

    10-15 years of related systems engineering experience.5 years experience supporting MS based system stacks such as SharePoint.
