JOB SUMMARY:

About the Agency

Framework Monitoring Division-

The Framework Monitoring Division (FMD) falls under the control of the Financial Portfolio Management Department in the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. The FMD is tasked with overseeing all of OPIC’s finance framework activities related to financial intermediation efforts with leading banking and non-banking institutions, including disbursements, monitoring and reporting on approved OPIC finance projects structured with framework lenders throughout the life of the project; monitoring; and monitoring reports on compliance issues. Internship duties will vary to include assisting Investment Officers in effectively managing credit relationships; performing in-depth analysis of: the ongoing nature of the business venture, the financial statements provided by the project, country related macroeconomic and microeconomic risks; perform other related duties as assigned.

  • SUBMIT SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT(S). Transcripts will be required if you are selected for an internship. You will be required to bring an official copy with you on the first day of your internship. Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment (at least half-time) in a relevant advanced business degree program such as finance, accounting, international affairs and or development at the time the internship would be served.

    Must be a U.S. citizen Must be currently enrolled in a full or part-time accredited Master's program Must be in good academic standing. Finance and Financial Analysis experience preferred.
