GEICO's Recruiting Division at the Corporate office is seeking an associate with 1-2 years of full-life cycle recruitment experience. Prior technical recruiting experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience with social recruiting and online sourcing. They will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, love solving problems and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking someone who is self-driven, has superior organization skills and great follow-through. Technical knowledge of iOS, Android, Java, ASP.NET and IT Infrastructure is a plus. 
  Essential Functions: 
  1. SCREENS applications from various sources, e.g. on line, referrals and college recruiting. 
  2. CONDUCTS job interview to determine if candidate should be referred to hiring department for further interview. 
  3. WRITES and COORDINATES outside employment advertising, job postings, etc. 
  4. ENTERS information in Taleo (ATS). 
  5. INFORMS all candidates of interview decision via email or phone. 
  6. WORKS with advertising agencies to fill high need technical positions when the external pool of candidates is limited. 
  7. BUILD and distribute weekly recruiting reports to supervisor and hiring managers 
  8. SOURCE and hire across all IT departments and manage relationships with hiring managers 
  9. ATTEND networking events, meet-ups, hackathons, etc. to find qualified applicants 
  10. ADHERES to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies and operating principles. 
  11. MAINTAINS an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company's standards. 
  12. MEETS attendance standard at business location, to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with supervisors and co-workers. 
  •  Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc.) 
  •  Must be able to work independently and in a team environment 
  •  Must be able to multi-task 
  •  Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  •  College degree preferred or actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree
