GEICO's Internal Audit department is looking for a Senior Financial Auditor with a desire to grow and expand their career!   Job Duties & Responsibilities:   As a Senior Financial Auditor you will learn all about the different aspects of the Company as you audit different areas, focusing not only on financial risks, but also on operational efficiency as well. Get involved in Sarbanes-Oxley and work with our various outside auditing firms.  We encourage a team atmosphere, and you will often be paired with others in the department, utilizing varied skill sets and experiences.    A day to day responsibility consist of self-managing your audit projects through various stages to completion and being flexible enough to handle ad hoc special requests from all levels of management.  We conduct both compliance auditing as well as risk based audit assignments where you will develop your risk assessment and audit program through the planning process.
The ideal candidate will have their accounting degree, their CPA designation, and be committed to continued learning and obtaining further designations to include, but not limited to, the CIA designation. A thorough understanding of accounting and auditing principles is highly preferred.

Candidate Qualifications:   • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA designation
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel
• Previous audit experience preferred
Salary information:
