Summer STEM Camp Director
HOPKINS HOUSE, a community-based, nonprofit learning center for children, youth, and families, founded in 1939, has immediate opening SUMMER STEM CAMP DIRECTOR.
Seeking creative and energetic individual to help organize and manage summer camp for 5-year olds with focus on science, technology, engineering, and math exploration. Camp is for 30 or more young learners preparing to enter kindergarten in the fall, divided into two 6-week sessions of up to 20 students each; includes 4 days weekly of STEM discovery activities and 1 day weekly of local trips to sites related to that week's discovery activity; and, culminates at the end of each 6-week session with a science fair.
Camp Director must be available April 3 through June 9 for very limited hours (2-3 hours weekly) to help organize camp, and then full-time (40 hours weekly) for 12 weeks from June 12 - September 1.
