The purpose of this program is to transform the way IT services are provided to the customer by implementing a sustainable, efficient, and modern infrastructure. This team will Implement IaaS including IT infrastructure implementation and Integration, Application and data migration, Enterprise Service Management and Control tools and equipment to include establishment of Service Operations Centre(s), and implementation of client provisioning services including virtual desktops, client installations, and print/scan solutions. The work involves the buildout of three data centers and the modernization of 41 additional sites to establish an efficient, centrally-managed enterprise.

Position is primarily based out of Herndon, VA and requires support in development and management of all NATO modernization requirements, with documentation to include specifications, interface documents, and related documents. Perform analyses and provide recommendations on top leve l requirements, system requirements, derived requirements, software requirements, and interface designs. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met. Must employ bespoke processes that integrate with PRINCE2 and ITIL methodologies. Travel is required up to but not exceeding 20% annually.

1. Directly, and through subordinate supervisors, manages employees engaged in the design and development of computer systems architectures.
2. Primarily supervises exempt Systems Engineers.
3. Develops schedules and assigns work to meet critical customer deadlines.
4. Ensures that proper records and other documentation are maintained.
5. May also perform complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
7. Participates in special projects as required.

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
* PRINCE2 Foundations Certification Preferred.
* ITIL Foundations Certification Preferred.
