Technical Targeting Analyst : Researches, monitors and analyzes intelligence data and makes recommendations based on that data.

 1. Provides analysis and research for national security, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.

 2. Prepares assessments of current threats and trends based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information.

 3. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.

 4. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.

 5. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff, and may have supervisory responsibilities.

 6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

 7. Participates in special projects as required

Education Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or military discipline.

 Master's Degree preferred.

Qualifications 10-15 years of related experience supporting intelligence operations.

 

Knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis

 

Experience researching and writing intelligence reports

 

Experience working in a collaborative team environment with experts in a variety of fields and from a variety of agencies and organizations. He/she will collaborate with and leverage expert’s knowledge to provide comprehensive target assessments

 

Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced dynamic environment, multi-task, organize and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision

 

Ability to prepare formal written reports and present formal briefings

 

Ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data and information

 

Ability to quickly assess, triage, and identify trends and/or patterns in large volumes of data

 

Demonstrated experience with collection capabilities and dissemination systems

 

Experience shaping targeting methodology

 

Demonstrated ability to analyze current and emerging intelligence issues related to a variety of topics as well as collection strategy development and execution

 

Demonstrated experience using intelligence tools

 

Demonstrated experience with databases
