Full Time


 1. Hardware break-fix, installations, upgrades and modifications of primarily but not limited to EMC/Dell Storage Arrays and other components throughout NATO countries.  Primarily in Germany, UK, and Belgium, but potential exists for travel throughout NATO members.

 2. Designs new products and/or modifies existing products.

 3. Develops technical specifications for production.

 4. Analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions.

 5. Tests hardware performance to specifications.

 6. Provides assistance to higher-level hardware engineers.

 7. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

 8. Participates in special projects as required.


Designing new or modifying products;

-Adding additional storage capacity to storage arrays, upgrading code levels


Analyzing hardware configuration and processing solutions

-Searching for performance bottlenecks and looking at performance in virtual environments      as related to production data and backups.


Test hardware performance

-Researching with customer such things as electrical and HVAC needs and scheduling prior to     installations.


How are they engaged in the analysis, design and development of hardware

-They will be recommending ways to upgrade performance

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.


Technical certifications in storage technology highly valued.
