Operations Manager, Major Events
Ridgewells Catering seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional in the world of major sporting events to join the Major Events team as Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will assist the General Manager in the day to day planning and execution of all catering functions for assigned major sports event accounts, and in the development of a new concessions concept.
A successful candidate will have proven experience in high volume, fast-paced environments on multifaceted projects with the ability to adapt to change and think outside of the box. Additional priority traits include excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills with an attention to detail; ability to work independently, but also collaborate as part of a team; effective leadership and management skills; and an interest in food.
- 4+ years of major event operations experience; experience in the sports industry, specifically in the golf space, is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in event concessions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality and Event Management, or related field
- Some travel, including up to 25 consecutive days from Memorial Day through June
