Team Leader for a major Navy business enterprise network operations center environment. Candidate will provide on-site leadership for a team of 25 engineers and technicians and be responsible for all aspects of daily operation, sustainment, upgrade, internal and external customer interface, and compliance with Navy and DOD policies and guidance. 

    Provides technical, operational and administrative management of assigned project or tasks.Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.Leads technical interchange meetings with internal and external customers to resolve complex technical issues. Prepares and presents impact assessments, plans of action, and white papers.Utilizes background and experience to develop and maintain policies, instructions and SOPs.Utilizes experience in network engineering and system administration to lead troubleshooting to resolve system problems.Utilizes system engineering experience to leads detailed planning to include; and provides recommendations to customer on task workload prioritization.Attends customer meetings and serves as primary customer liaison.Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and customer staff.Responsible for development of technical deliverables and products and inputs to program management deliverables.Ensures compliance with DOD information assurance and cyber security directives.Leads certification and accreditation and inspection preparations.Participates in special projects as required.
Education
    Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.Active DOD Secret level clearance required. TS eligibility preferred.Professional certification (PMP) and ITIL Certification preferred.
Qualifications
    8-10 years of related IT project planning, management and supervision experience required.Background in Systems Administration (Windows/Unix), AD, Storage and Virtualization required.Demonstrated ability to lead engineering team to plan, document and execute complex network infrastructure upgrades including; resource planning, work breakdown structure analysis, risk management, data collection, progress reporting, and status briefing required.Knowledge of network devices, firewalls, and switches required. Cisco experience preferred.Knowledge and experience with DOD IA compliance policies and procedures, including DoD STIGs required.Experience developing and maintaining Information Technology Service Management processes and Standard Operating Procedures using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) strongly desired.Additional desired experience requirements include:
    Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP/7, etc.)Active Directory (2003/2008) group policies design and implementationImplementing and supporting Microsoft BackOffice products (Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, SMS)VMware vSphere administrationSAN Storage Design and administrationWorking knowledge of server hardware (RAID, clustering, virtualization, etc.)TCP/IP protocol, DHCP, DNSKnowledge of MS Forefront Identity Management a plusMicrosoft SQL 2008/2012 and MySQL administration a plusProficient in Microsoft Office, including Project and Visio
