Job Description

As a Systems Integrator, duties include but are not limited to; research, analyze, and assist in s gathering web collaboration systems requirements (currently SharePoint 2010/2013). Aid in the design of the systems and deploy in the development environment for evaluation and testing addressing the areas of security, custom development, add-ins, third party components, and external systems integration. Produce detailed technical documentation to assist in the security accreditation as well as to provide help / instructions to other groups to deploy and support. Utilize advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning skills to make the primary collaboration platform (currently SharePoint) run safely and soundly, both in test/dev and onto a production networks. Plan for future platforms and help other elements coordinate safe and sane migration plans.

Knowledge; Skills and Abilities

    DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Security+)SharePoint – Expert level knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and 2013Aptitude and desire to attain expert level knowledge of SharePoint 2016 and other collaboration platforms that the command may invest in.Web Applications – many of the same configuration, Security, and performance issuesExperience with server virtualization (VMWare or Microsoft Hyper-V preferred)Excellent communication and briefing skills; shows tact; effective listening skills and follow through. The ability to explain technical issues and concepts to both fellow experts and non-experts both verbally and in writing.Solid worth ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environmentDetail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications 5-8 years of related software development experience.
