-Edit proposal volumes for clarity and readability. Rewrite content to give “one voice” to material  provided by multiple authors, revise passive voice, spell out acronyms in first use, and ensure compliance to customer requirements.

-Ensure compliance with established company and industry format and editorial style guides.

-Precision edit for spelling, grammar and punctuation on tight deadlines in organization that responds to hundreds of proposals annually.

-Revise writing to be customer focused.

-Develop action captions to showcase strengths and themes.

-Meet with subject matter experts for concurrence and to extract technical content or ensure that proposed changes do not compromise the technical content.

-Write delivery-quality customer-focused executive summaries.

- Support proposal production efforts within the proposal center on an as needed basis.

-Remain current on new developments in editing and writing.

-Provide input and recommendations to continually improve proposal department processes and procedures.

Education Bachelors Degree in English, Journalism or a related discipline.
