GDIT is seeking a Software Developer responsible for technical definition, implementation, and integration of COTS enterprise Identity and Access Management services. These services enable authentication and authorization capabilities to users and applications throughout the enterprise.  These services provide capabilities like coarse grained gateways, token issuance/verification, and policy evaluation.  The developed services are a mix of 3rd party products, customizations, and custom code which must run in as a highly available system.

 

GDIT duties may also include:

Researches, designs, develops and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.

 

1. Assists in the design and coding of software product components, units, and modules according to detailed specifications.

 2. Participates in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancing existing software.

 3. Participates in the analysis and development of test plans.

 4. Analyzes test results and recommends corrections to more experienced software engineers.

 5. Participates in the writing and updating of technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.

 6. Participates in systems modeling, simulation and analysis.

 7. Troubleshoots problems and provides customer support for software operating system and application issues.

 8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

 9. Participates in special projects as assigned.

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Qualifications 0-2 years of related software development experience.

 Skills

    Full lifecycle Java development of libraries and WARs, including unit and integration testingBasic knowledge and experience with developing and integrating Identity and Access Management technologies including:
      PKI, LDAP, SAML, API Gateways, and XACML
    Development of clustered, high availability, scalable deploymentsAdministration and automated deployments with RHEL LinuxHands on work experience with implementing and maintaining PKI for enterprise systemsDeveloping applications for WebLogic and Tomcat environmentsDevelopment and deployment of RESTful web servicesDeveloping using IDE tools (i.e., Eclipse IDE, NetBeans)Code management using GITLab RepositoryDevelopment and maintenance of token services (ie. JSON, SAML)
