Curriculum development for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) ASW MP. Plan, Analyze, Design, and Develop Operator, Maintainer, Fundamentals, Planning and Capstone training curricula. Develop factory training materials for Operators and Maintainers to ensure the successful completion of Factory Training. Resolve Training Issues. Assist with STG Rating Detailer Interface. Conduct Maintenance Training to include; Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Remove and Replace Procedures and System Administration. Conduct Operations Training to include; Mission Planning, Fundamentals, Analysis, Sensor Operations, Team Training and Systems Launch/Recover Training.


Support Manpower & Personnel efforts. Provide updates to establish manpower requirements associated with the operation, maintenance, support, and training.   provide estimates by personnel type (operators, maintainers, support personnel, and instructors) and labor category (military, DoD civilian, and contractor). Provide updates to the NTSP that is a complete and viable plan that reflects the methodology for analyzing, designing, developing, producing, implementing, evaluating and maintaining manpower/personnel and training (MP&T) solutions that will ensure transfer of training to the sailor and meet Train to Qualify (T2Q) and Train to Certify (T2C) requirements.


Continue Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Fundamentals and Planning training course development. Identify job tasks to be performed, analyze the skills and knowledge needed to perform them, assess the technologies available for training the skills and knowledge, perform a media analysis to recommend the best mix of delivery media and provide cost and lead-time comparisons for the feasible alternatives.


Conduct a best value analysis for alternatives to provide training solutions for operator and maintainer training. Analyze the total ownership costs and the various benefits and drawbacks associated with each potential training option. Factors to consider include Capital costs, recurring (lifecycle) costs, discretionary costs and CSCS training initiatives to include computer-based and virtual reality simulations.


Conduct Training weekly/monthly meetings; and submit status reports.

Education Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.


Must have former Navy work experience and be a Former Navy Master Training Specialist , Instructor NEC 9502, ASW Specialist NEC 0417.

Qualifications SPECILIZED REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 5 years of experience developing training products as part of the acquisition phase logistics product support.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 5-8 years of experience in the development and delivery of technical training programs for LCS ASW Mission Package, AN/SQQ-89 and/or Combat Systems required, and the experience must be recent within the last 10 years.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have an active DOD Secret Clearance. Able to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings. Must be able to lift forty pounds, climb ladders, and other shipboard activity. Must be willing to Travel; and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, NAVEDTRA 136 Integrated Learning Environment Course Development and Life-Cycle Maintenance, Authoring Instructional Material (AIM), and Navy PMS Editor (NPE).
