The Town of Middleburg, a dynamic and historic small town in Loudoun County, Virginia, has an immediate opening for a full-time Business and Economic Development Director. This is a professional position responsible for implementing the Town’s business support, recruitment, marketing, and economic development programs. The Business and Economic Development Director will be responsible for generating business development goals and strategies and will be held accountable for meeting measurable objectives for recruiting and retaining businesses in the Town of Middleburg. The Director is the primary staff support to the Economic Development Advisory Committee and provides support to the Town Council and other Town committees as needed. Bachelor's degree in business, economic development, marketing, or a related field with 5-10 years of experience is required; Master’s Degree or relevant higher education certificate is a plus.
