a. Track files released to other facilities;
b. Conduct a biannual file audit and report findings to the USG;
c. Create and maintain files as required;
d. File correspondence and documentation;
e. Archive any purged the files of individuals who have been debriefed;
g. Manage files that require expedited processing;
h. Assist with general office duties including photocopying, faxing, packing, data entry, and mailing documents;
i.  Maintain confidentiality of assets and information pertaining to personnel security;
j. Capable of reaching over their heads and bending to the floor to retrieve files;
k. Transport files from the customer facility to the archive facility located offsite.



Performs a variety of routine administrative tasks in support of the facility security function. 


1. Operates a switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and place outgoing local and long-distance calls.

 2. Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the facility security function, including assisting employees with obtaining ID badges and assisting with visit requests.

 3. Assists employees in acquiring security clearance when required via secured database.

 4. Greets, identifies and directs visitors, and arranges for escort as appropriate.

 5. Verifies security clearances of incoming visitors when required (use of JPAS which requires Secret clearance).

 6. Maintains visitor logs and related documentation.

 7. May provide word-processing, typing, and other clerical support as requested.

 8. Maintains current knowledge of relevant DOD and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

 9. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Requires a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications 0-1 years of related administrative experience, preferably in the industrial security field.

 a. Demonstrated experience with current version of Microsoft Office Suite
