Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for a consolidated group of companies and manages the annual budget process while driving systems and process improvements.

 

Job Requirements

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure for all corporate business units
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings with proper documentation and assist with variance analysis
  • Monitor and analyze departmental and individual workloads in order to ensure appropriate use of resources
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and customer service is delivered by team members
  • Make recommendations for developing and improving accounting processes
  • Respond to inquiries regarding special financial reporting requests
  • Manage all periodic (monthly, quarterly, and annual) closings according to corporate deadlines
  • Assist Corporate Controller with annual audit requirements and auditor information requests
  • Ensure compliance with established processes and controls; assist Corporate Controller with implementation of new processes and controls where necessary
  • Assist with weekly cash management reporting
  • Other related duties as assigned
