This position administers professional development programs under the Center for Learning & Development and this position has a focus on designing and developing leadership capabilities across the organization from front-line managers up to executive leadership along with other potential programs in e-learning, virtual and instructor-led programs.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Administers various professional development programs
  2. Evaluate existing professional development programs and participates in the development and implementation of new programs
  3. Coordinates logistics for courses to include preparing course material, room set-up and other instructor requirements
  4. Conducts professional development courses including conducting classroom, one-on-one, virtual classroom instruction and blended learning
  5. Briefs staff on the company’s professional development programs
  6. Collaborate with internal HR Partners and various levels of management to assess gaps, issues and develop a strategy and/or program to meet the needs of leadership within the organization
  7. Responsible for maintaining web sites and SharePoint  sites in conjunction with various CLD programs and areas of development
  8. Partner with leaders and groups to support the delivery of workshops, coaching, group discussions, team building exercises etc., and delivered in various modalities
  9. May provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff members
  10. Maintains current knowledge of emerging trends and technologies related to professional development
  11. Participates in special projects as required
Education
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related business discipline or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience 
  2. Professional certification (PHR, SPHR, IDs, Myers Briggs, DDI, etc) preferred
 

Qualifications 5-8 years of related experience in professional development and training.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Experience in corporate learning organization with training and development needs analysis, curriculum design, content development and delivery, LMS development and distribution and evaluation expertise
  2. Expertise in the development of classroom, e-learning, virtual, blended learning training, instructional design, adult learning methodologies and facilitation for senior level audiences
  3. Effective administrative and organizational skills
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of general HR practices and procedures
  5. Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in fast-pace environment
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  7. Proficiency in the use of PeopleSoft or related HRIS may be required
  8. Standard office environment
  9. Ability to travel up to 50%
