Flight Test Engineer

Support the next generation jammer test team. Engage in the research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) of airborne radar systems and associated systems, including their electronics, interfaces, mission planning systems, and imbedded software. Support the acquisition process through planning, organizing, and conducting comprehensive technical research, design, development, test, evaluation, and experimentation of radar equipment, interfaces, digital signal processors, associated software, sensors, and related systems. Provide knowledge of radar theory and systems and operational use. Draft deficiencies as a key component of the job and participate in technical interchange meetings and test plan working groups.
-5+ years of experience in flight testing with a NAVAIR organization
-Experience with planning and coordinating flight tests
-Experience with avionics testing techniques
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering
Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
