DCS Corp is looking for an Acquisition Logistics Support Manager to support the acquisition and sustainment of Army Force Protection Systems. The candidate will have thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements to formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both user needs.

Essential Job Functions:

Support the acquisition and sustainment of Army Force Protection Systems.

Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capability and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.

Analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, but also consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the work of business systems analysis personnel.

Act as a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.

Must have a Secret level clearance.

Bachelors degree and 8+ years of related experience performing staff level acquisition logistics management functions in support of a Government Product Office for life cycle management.

Expertise in Army Program of Record documentation and procedures.

Materiel Release and hand-off / accountability procedures.

Experience with developing and/or managing life cycle sustainment.

Expertise in developing and supporting the implementation of product support plans, developing acquisition strategies and sustaining well-defined, affordable performance-based strategies for product office supported products.

Ability to develop and present briefings on complex subjects.

Ability to develop Life Cycle Sustainment Plans.

Ability to travel 50% of the time

Ability to deploy to and work in austere environments


Master's degree in a logistics, business, management, or technical field, such as systems design and operational effectiveness, or similar systems engineering/ technical education, business administration, and/or supply chain management
