**Position requires an in-scope TS/SCI clearance.**


Provide the security operations and provide a quarterly status report. Specific tasks include:

a. Perform launch base specific personnel security to include processing new and periodic investigation packages, adverse information reporting, operating local and access databases, providing required access information for launch base facility badging and host site access, manage local Polygraph Program scheduling. Provide local support to launch service and program security offices as needed. Support meetings and other activities involving launch security.
b. Perform launch base visitor control tasks to include performing clearance and access verification functions for NRO launch base controlled areas.
c. Administer the Security Program Requirements for Collateral, SAP & SCI clearances and security files.
d. Perform Documentation Control, courier processing, destruction of classified and unclassified materials, combo matrices creation and faxing.
e. Support the administration of the Workplace Violence Program, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and other security or awareness programs.

f. Administer Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) as well as Emergency Management (EM) Program.
g. Serve as local PSO Security Subject Matter Expert in the PSO's absence.


Administers and coordinates the facility security activities for an office or group.

  1. Administers and coordinates the DoD security program and other related security activities for a large office or group to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies and procedures.

 2. Provides guidance to managers and employees regarding security regulations and procedures.

 3. Participates in the development and implementation of security procedures in coordination with government agencies and company management.

 4. Conducts security briefings.

 5. Develops and conducts security-related training programs.

 6. Investigates security violations and recommends corrective actions.

 7. Maintains liaison with outside agencies.

 8. Assists employees in acquiring personal security clearance when required.

 9. May enter security information into automated system and develop related reports as needed.

 10. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced security staff.

 11. Participates in special projects as required.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 5-8 years of related experience in facility or industrial security administration, preferably in the government contracting industry
