As a Contract Administration Intern you will actively support the daily operation of the Contracts Department of the GDIT Intelligence Solutions Division (ISD). This experience will help you learn facets of GDIT's Contract Management functional role and responsibility in the organization. Gain direct work experience and exposure by working directly with the ISD Contract Management professionals, program and other functional teams. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

    Support Contract Staff in the contract administration process.Ensure compliance of contract file documentation.Assist with record retention.Generate reportsAssist with audit preparationSupport new business proposal activities and perform special projects as required.Assist with the annual internal Organization Conflict of Interest Audits.Assist in contract closeout by routing the spreadsheet/checklist for the closeouts, locating documentation as needed.Assist in maintaining the Contract Value/Funds Tracker.Be a team player and develop strong working relationships with team mates and internal customers.
Education Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited BS/BA Program and completed at least freshman year of a Bachelor's Degree. Proficiency required with Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel and Outlook. MS SharePoint experience a plus.

Qualifications 0-2 years experience

Recommend work experience in a business office environment.

Preference for candidates considering a career in contracts, subcontracts and/or procurement.
