Principal Finance Analyst
General Dynamics Information Technology is looking for an energetic organized professional to join the GDIT headquarters team as a Principal Analyst, Finance. The person chosen to fill this position will be joining a highly visible Finance Planning & Analysis team with a history of providing accurate and timely financial reporting. Reporting to the Director – FP&A, the Principal Analyst, Finance will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis process. Functions will include: support of monthly financial close by playing a key role in the consolidation of the financial results from multiple sources, direct preparation of detailed financial reports required by the Corporate office on a quarterly basis, support internal and external audits as required, interface with Division Finance on various data inputs, prepare summary reports for senior management and finance community. Additional responsibilities will include: prepare and analyze financial information using the Oracle report writer tool both on a monthly and ad hoc basis, support special projects as needed by retrieving and organizing large amounts of data.
