Senior Video Producer, Office of Communications - Georgetown University Law Center

The Senior Video Producer (SVP) is responsible for producing, shooting and editing a wide variety of videos for the Law Center. S/he functions as a producer, director, writer, camera operator and editor, and is responsible for creating, researching, developing and executing video projects for a wide variety of internal Law Center clients. The SVP is also responsible for the law school's online video presence - including the Georgetown Law website, You Tube and other platforms. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Plans, develops and researches video projects.  
  • Schedules interviews and b-roll shoots.
  • Writes scripts and shoots interviews and b-roll.
  • Logs footage, edits videos (including post-production graphic and audio elements).
  • Maintains quality control of Georgetown Law's online video presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience as a video producer
  • Skilled videographer with experience working in a variety of settings
  • Clear understanding of interview lighting techniques
  • Experience writing and producing.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in in latest video technology, including Final Cut Pro, Premiere, and After Effects
  • Proficiency with DSLR technologies and competence in Photoshop and Illustrator
