The Office of Admissions is seeking a friendly, organized individual for an Applicant Experience Coordinator in our Office of Graduate Admissions. Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Applicant Experience Coordinator is to serve the prospective students and families who visit the Office of Graduate Admissions by providing a professional, welcoming and customer service-oriented presence at the reception desk. The individual interested in this position enjoys advocating for graduate students and helping them navigate the admissions process.

The successful candidate will serve as primary reception and welcome staff for the Office of Graduate Admissions reception desk. The reception desk serves as the first point of contact for visitors to our office. This position, along with the welcome team in the main admissions office and Client Operation Services, is responsible for responding to inquiries from a variety of sources and providing information to necessary parties in a timely and a professional manner. The incumbent must be prepared to handle large call/e-mail volumes and work in a deadline-driven environment.

This position will provide administrative support to the admissions specialists, an enhanced customer service experience to our clients.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; * Comfortable working diverse populations, and possess cross-cultural communication skills; * Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; * Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities; * Ability to learn policies and procedures quickly; * Comfort or familiarity with database systems and proficiency using Microsoft Office programs; * Experience with professional business communications and procedures; * Demonstrated experience in customer service role in an office environment with a high-volume work load desirable; and * A positive, friendly, and customer service-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications: * Higher education experience; and * Experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
