(Qty. 2) (KEY PERSONNEL)The primary purpose of the position is to provide limited technical assistance to Human Resources Specialists within the office and to managers, supervisors, and technicians of the serviced organization for a wide range of human resources matters. Performs work in two or more of the following human resource specialties. May accomplish work through the use of an automated system. Provides technical assistance to Human Resources Specialists within the office, supervisors, and technicians of the serviced organization for a wide range of human resources matters. A practical knowledge of employee relations principles and practices and counseling techniques of the US Army is required to perform recurring types of technical work which contribute to morale, motivation or discipline of employees. - Citizen of the United States.Secret Clearance required.Specialized Experience is work in the field of Human Resources management, which demonstrates that the applicant has acquired, and is able to apply, a combination of specific knowledge, skills and abilities appropriate for US Army position. High school diploma or equivalency and a minimum of five years Specialized Experience in the past 10 years; or Bachelor's or Master’s degree in human resources personnel, or labor relations from an accredited program and a minimum three years Specialized Experience in the past 10 years.Possess an active SECRET clearance. If the applicant has served in the military they must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military). Personnel who have been discharged with a characterization of “General under other than honorable”, “Bad Conduct”, or “Dishonorable” are disqualified from this position.
- Computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and Internet Explorer.Fluent in English.Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills and a strong customer service orientationAble to accept a written assignment and produce releasable work within prescribed deadlines. - Willing to work a 12-hour shift per day.Working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous, harsh conditions.Able to don all required personal protective gear and physically execute assigned duties.
