ANA Fusion Planner
Serves as a TAAC-E staff proponent for the Advisor teams related to Train, Advise, and Assist efforts within the Functionally Based Security Force Assistance (FBSFA) construct. Serves as the conduit between the TAAC-E advisor teams and the Resolute Support HQs ensuring continuity of operations between CUOPS, Plans, and Afghan Counterparts. Provides focus and attention on the Train, Advise, and Assist efforts in the 201st and 203rd Corps as well as the 202nd and 303rd Zones. Integrates into all RS EF meetings as the SME for TAAC-E. Responsible to create/edit/update briefings and presentations as required by the OIC and NCOIC. Conducts research and data collection to create/edit/update presentations in support of meetings, briefings, requests for information, or as required in support of routine and non-routine projects. Has the authority to coordinate and set suspense dates with other personnel on the battle staff in order to receive the necessary information to complete those requirements. The ANA Fusion Planner reports to the TAAC Commander, CoS, and the DCOM, and assists the G3 in developing plans and orders for the unit that nest with green targeting. References the MAAR (Monthly ANDSF Assessment Report) and develops branch, phase, or sequel plan integration and issuance across the staff. Assists in accomplishment of campaign plan specific goals as specified by the COR. Education BS/BA degree.
- Citizen of the United States.Possess a military background as a U.S. military operational level planner having attained the rank of CW3, O3 or higher. If the applicant has served in the military they must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military). Personnel who have been discharged with a characterization of “General under other than honorable”, “Bad Conduct”, or “Dishonorable” are disqualified from this position.Possess an active Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) and Internet Explorer.Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies and other challenging situations.Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communications skills.Communicating in cross-cultural and multi-cultural environments both in written and oral formats.
- Willing to work a 12-hour shift per day.Working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust and hazardous harsh conditions.Able to don all required personal protective gear and physically execute assigned duties.
