GENERAL SUMMARY: Primary focus on recruitment and Outreach exclusively for a GDIT contract to develop the National Language Service Corps (NLSC). This is a direct position exclusively for this General Dynamics IT contract. Provides support; information; and vision to National Language Service Corps (NLSC) recruiting and Outreach team and NLSC staff. Supports internal NLSC staff by providing support for recruiting functions and Outreach support for NLSC as needed. This includes tracking applicants in CRM; in MS Excel and NLSC database. Ability to work in a flexible; evolving organizational structure; work closely with recruiters to share best practices; provide assistance on critical needs; and coordinates initiatives. Assist manager with Recruiting reports and stats utilizing MS Excel; assists in developing new strategies and programs to attract candidates. Assist in all level of Outreach activities. Initiative; creativity; and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Effective communication and writing skills; including ability to mediate sensitive areas and resolve conflict. Knowledge of diverse cultures and awareness of cultural nuance a plus. Fluency in foreign language(s) a plus. PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in developing recruitment strategies to achieve required NLSC staffing levels. Develop specific plans for identification and recruiting of NLSC employees- called members; who are knowledgeable; if not representative; of multi-cultural groups in the United States and possess foreign language capabilities. Meets with recruiting management to obtain their input for recruiting and Outreach strategies; and input and feedback progress of those activities. Work with recruiting manager to develop reports; graph and charts in MS Excel Investigate plans; schedules; coordinates; and attends conferences; job/career fairs; Festivals; etc. with appropriate staff to generate a source of language qualified applicants. May coordinate NLSC recruiting requirements with outside sources such as job posting web sites and state and federal agencies. Maintains current knowledge of the practices; procedures; and processes of recruiting and Outreach. Education Requires BS/BA degree in HR; Psychology; Business Admin.; or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education; professional training; or work experience.
