Job Description:
Our Optima Health Employee Assistance Programs proudly supports and services thousands of our members throughout the entire state of Virginia and the northeastern region of North Carolina. We are currently seeking an experienced Director for our EAP division to oversee and manage this instrumental division whose partnerships include but is not limited to: manufacturing companies, financial institutions, healthcare systems, schools and universities, public safety groups and much more. The ideal candidate will recognize that to be successful in our best practices, we at Optima must continue to set the tone and be leaders in the EAP arena . Thus the selected candidate will be extremely knowledgeable and aware of current trends and what's going on in EAP worldwide. Candidate will be a master's degree prepared Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in mental/behavioral health and healthcare management and the flexibility and ability to respond quickly to crisis work and other leadership related responsibilities which requires about 20% of travel throughout the entire state/territory. Position is based in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating all activities and functions related to operational and clinical aspects of statewide employee assistance program (EAP). Work with various employer groups, to ensure execution of services. Supervise all clinical staff for day-to-day operations of EAP and its education program.

Master's Level Degree - COUNSELING OR

Experience
Required: Behavioral Health - 5 years, Healthcare Management - 5 years, Mental Health Counselor - 5 years
