Responsible and accountable for the clinical oversight, financial performance and customer service for their branch/ department. Collaborates with other team members to ensure that regulatory requirements are maintained. Patient Care Services Manager will also be responsible for making clinical visits with patients. Must have a thorough understanding of agency goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Models and leads professional practices consistent with organizational goals of safety, customer satisfaction and quality. Supervises staff, provides clinical/ technical expertise and engages in process improvements. Assists in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing and supply cost management. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

Education Level
RN-Bachelor's Level Degree

Experience
Required: Clinical Practice - 3 years, Healthcare - 3 years, Supervisory - 3 years

Preferred: Home Health - Previous experience

License
Required: Registered Nurse

Preferred: Basic Cardiac Life Support

Skills

Other
Three years clinical practice, healthcare supervisory or healthcare management experience required. Home health experience preferred. For position within the Hospice program, previous hospice experience is required. BLS required within 90 days. All new RN¿s who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN agreement committing to enrollment in accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire. ( Exemption to expire November 30, 2017.)
