Manager, Human Resources
Sentara Healthcare Human Resources is seeking an HR Manager candidate (HR Business Partner Team) to be located at Sentara Norfolk General partnering with system Lab, Rehab, Pharmacy, Materials Management, and Resource Pool departments.
The HR Manager partners with an HR Director and the assigned executive leadership team to develop, lead and manage people-related strategy with shared responsibility for goal achievement. The leader drives HR practices, processes and initiatives that support strategic objectives and solves complex challenges through people-related solutions. Partners with Centers of Expertise (COE's) to design and execute strategy. Develops advanced level of business literacy of division financial position, midrange plans, culture and competition.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree is preferred.
Five (5) years of progressive experience leading people, processes and resources achieving identified goals and objectives. Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines to include compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and labor relations, diversity, performance management, and Federal/State employment laws. Healthcare experience preferred.
