Sentara Healthcare is currently seeking a Manager, Compliance to support Sentara Enterprises and Sentara Life Care. This full time position will be located in the Chesapeake/Norfolk area.
Ensure that all assigned locations have processes and policies in place to comply with applicable rules and regulations. Coordinate internal audits, analyses, reviews and investigations of all locations and provide recommendations to improve compliance and internal controls with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations related to Medicare and Medicaid. Ensure that appropriate auditing and monitoring, as well as compliance and privacy program training and other compliance and privacy program activities and initiatives are being appropriately provided to and undertaken by all assigned locations.
Bachelor's Level Degree Required. Master's level degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred. Juris Doctor preferred
Required: Healthcare Management - 5 years, Internal/External Audit - Previous experience, Medicaid - Previous experience, Medicare - Previous experience
Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) and certificate for Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D) preferred.
