Sr Employee Relations Consultant
Sentara Healthcare Human Resources is seeking a Sr Employee Relations Consultant for the Center of Expertise, located at the Corporate office in Norfolk, VA.
Provides expert consulting, HR program and policy design, and identification of best practices of the Employee Relations function. Designs and interprets Employee Relations policies; interprets employment regulations. Proactively identifies Employee Relations issues and provides detailed options for resolving problems. Partners with Shared Services leaders in the design, implementation and coordination of Employee Relations Shared Services processes, workflows and procedures for all Employee Relations scenarios ensuring alignment with established policies and procedures and in compliance with applicable Employment laws. Design and oversees system workflows for Employee Relations HR programs and projects including cross-HR team facilitation. Provides expert counsel and advice to HR Business Partners; designs system and division specific initiates.
Bachelor's Level Degree
Five (5) years in one or a combination of the following fields: Employee Relations, Process Mapping/Improvement, Accreditation/Regulatory or Project Management. Labor Relations and Employee Communications experience preferred.
PHR/SPHR preferred. Project Management (PMP) and Process Improvement (Six Sigma) preferred.
