Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Jr. Information Assurance (IA) Analyst to support a Federal Government client at one of our Washington, DC locations. The Jr. IA Analyst will conduct analyses and document intrusion detection incidents and data.

Responsibilities
• Serve as project team member and perform tasks as assigned under the supervision of a Sr. Team Lead or IT Manager
• Participate in interview meetings with client personnel to document IT controls
• Develop and execute test plans for assessing the design and effectiveness of IT controls
• Develop and facilitate execution of IT control remediation work plans in coordination with client personnel
• Develop and execute verification and validation test plans for confirming remediation of IT control weaknesses

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's in an appropriate Technical field and 1 to 2 years of experience
• Entry level knowledge of policies, procedures and protocols of a government Security Operations Center
• Work or educational experience using security tools and technologies
• Experience in IT auditing, security, risk and controls, or other relevant areas
• Possess a working knowledge of the FISCAM, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and other relevant Federal information assurance laws, regulations and guidance
• US Citizen; must be clearable for a DHS full background investigation and suitability

Desired Qualifications
• Experience performing OMB Circular A-123 or similar internal controls reviews or external audits
• Experience remediating and implementing IT controls in an organization's enterprise or system environment
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
