The Functional Lead is responsible for supervising the members of the task order, prioritizing their activities to meet to Governments project priorities; analyzing current and future technology and making recommendations on how to most effectively provide required capabilities for the USSOCOM users.

Professional information technology experience installing, maintaining, and/or modifying Microsoft Active Directory AD, operating system and/or network operating system software and associated hardware

Professional level experience in managing, driving a team of highly skilled engineers from conceptual development through implementation of complex IT systems.

Professional level experience in designing and implementing enterprise level systems and scalable solutions.

Professional level experience in designing and implementing systems management tools, including centralized configuration tools, monitoring tools, and management tools.

Education A Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a similar field is recommended.

Professional Level Certification covering multi-disciplines such as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).


Qualifications At least fifteen years of multifaceted experience designing and implementing enterprise level systems or networks.

Must have good communication skills, shows tact, effective listening skills, follow through and anticipates questions while being prepared with answers or follow-up.

The ability to work independently with little to no supervision researching new technologies or comparing technologies to meet the customers need while providing an unbiased opinion.

Candidate must be a team player and be able to follow processes and procedures.

Self-disciplined, self-starter, professional who can successfully bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance and oversight.
