Leads and manages the International Program which support the training and educational programs for International sailors for the Aegis Training and Readiness Center FMS program in Dahlgren Virginia. Primary responsibility will be to manage the International Program including 37 direct reports including exempt and non-exempt employees. Responsibilities include customer interface; generation and coordination of deliverables; financial forecasting; budget management and tracking; contract planning and compliance; life cycle support; and International training program leadership. Additionally; this position requires ability to conduct traditional classroom instruction to the element level; as well as training on the operational employment of Aegis Combat System .

1. Provides technical; administrative; and operational management of assigned project or tasks; including contract and subcontractor management.

2. Supervises assigned staff; including subordinate supervisors.

3. Participates in the development of technical project plans; proposals; reports; and task order and administrative reporting.

4. May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.

5. Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.

6. Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.

7. Interacts with vendors; other agencies; and other client staff on behalf of the client.

8. Coordinates development of deliverables and products.

9. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

10. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

11. Participates in special projects as required. Education 1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical training; or work/military experience.

2. Five (5) years Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program experience with emphasis in financial forecasting; contract planning or administration; life cycle support; project leadership or program management

3. Eight (8) years relevant experience with Surface Navy Combat Systems including Aegis with responsibility for training / teaching the system to others and managing and leading other instructors.

4. Five (5) years relevant experience in a Naval Training Environment. Qualifications 1. Five (5) years Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program experience with emphasis in financial forecasting; contract planning or administration; life cycle support; project leadership or program management.

2. Five (5) years experience in a Surface Naval Training (Aegis) environment as a supervisor or manager.

3. Eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience with the Aegis Combat Systems as a technician or operator.





Requires travel up to 10 % of time including international travel; must be fit enough to embark ship for 5-10 days.
