Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages.

1. Performs routine programming activities according to project specifications.

2. Participates in the design; coding; testing; debugging; documentation; and maintenance of computer programs.

3. Confers with end-users to analyze specified methods and procedures; identify problems; and document specific requirements.

4. Troubleshoots various software products to determine source of errors.

5. Participates in the writing and updating of various technical documentation such as users manuals; product specifications; and training materials.

6. Maintains a current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

7. Participates in special projects as required. Education BS College degree required Qualifications 0-2 years minimum of directly related computer programming experience.

General Programmer Information Assurance Certification: IAT 1 (A+ CE; Network + CE; SSCP) Job duties: Performs the following duties with marginal oversight: ? Provides application support functions utilizing system requirements; user requirements and application parameters. Develops application documentation for maintainability and future enhancements. Works with designers and customers to ensure code generated meets the functionality and intent of the system being designed.
