Assist in the day-to-day support activities of the ammunition supply. Establish and maintain communication with all responsible logistical managers; other end user departments; applicable agencies; and with industry.

The advisor will be embedded with the government support structure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to perform the following activities:

' Direct ammunition maintenance or support to direct ammunition maintenance

' Monitor and provide recommendations of ammunition stock levels

' Establish and control critical tools and spares

' Initiate and supervise the movement of ammunition

' Provide recommendations on ammunition procurement

' Establish ammunition supply management to be accomplished through the use of a ammunition database. Database will be developed using Microsoft Excel

' Provide procurement; documentation; demilitarization and disposal of ammunition

' Provide oversight on ammunition handling; storage and use

' Provide technical advice to the end user: operational planning; environmental issues; disposal and maintenance plans for ammunition.

' Assist in the management of ammunition plans and provide recommendations to the end user for changes or modifications to the plans and implementation

' Investigate and provide technical/administrative responses to field reports; respond to problems and provide recommendations for resolution to the end users.

' Perform tests; inspections; tests and reporting for ammunition items

' Provide suggested updates to applicable ammunition technical manuals.

' Provide end user with ammunition Obsolescence Management

Develop; implement and maintain Training Plan that identifies plans associated with development and execution of the training requirements.

Present ammunition training course. Training will be provided at 9 Battalion facilities in Riyadh and Jeddah. Course materiel will be provided in English; translation of training will be provided as required by GD.

Course materiel will be 2 (two) consecutive weeks long and shall accommodate up to 8 (eight) students

Training course shall instruct on Concept of Operations; use of ammunition and fundamentals of maintaining an ammunition surveillance program

Education Bachelors Degree in a related technical or senior ammunition management military discipline ; Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Office (Word; PowerPoint; Excel; Outlook).

Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of technical experience with ammunition management

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience providing instruction on ammunition operations

Knowledge on the Total Ammunition Management System and understanding of the associated programming; funding; manufacturing; distribution and storage systems to project; monitor and resolve problems with ammunition resources.

Processing Daily Cycles and Reports; support of normal inventory operations; and proper accountability of ammunition stocks.

Ability to communicate effectively to senior level leaders





Ability to work and perform all tasks with little supervision; travel to various locations to support the KSA ammunition service program. Work initially is at home (12 month) but then may be in Saudi
