Customer is looking for a motivated and personable Help Desk Support Specialist to join our software Help Desk Team. The selected candidate will have primary responsibility for providing technical assistance and support related to our five software systems. In addition; they will be expected to work cohesively with two or three additional Help Desk specialists; provide monthly statistics to management; and participate and contribute to peer reviews.



Responsibilities will include; but are not limited to; the following:

1) provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to customer systems

2) respond to queries either in person; via written communication; or over the phone

3) coordinate access control to the systems and maintain access control documentation

4) ask questions to determine nature of the problem

5) walk customer through problem-solving process

6) track requests from query to completion and provide monthly statistics

7) follow-up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved

8) work cohesively with development team to troubleshoot issues Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work experience. Qualifications 2-5 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.
