Job Description

                                    General Summary:  Provide Business System support to the Closeout group

 

Principal Duties/ Responsibilities:

 

    Provide data insight, mining, and analysis as required to meet the needs of the contract closeout team.Enhance application of Closeout policy/flow of forms use through existing company tools.Organize Data for major efforts such as Cancelling Funds and Final Billing.Assist with contract closeouts as needed.Collaborate with team to adapt/streamline process as it changes from legacy accounting systems to current accounting systems.Must possess strong data systems knowledge, such as accelerated Microsoft Excel, and accessing data through OBIEE and other systems as required.Experience in data gathering, analysis and document organization as well as other contract administration duties required for contract closeout.Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced, changing environment with good time management skills.
Posses knowledge and ability to apply finance principles, concepts, practices, in a government contracting environment 

Education Bachelors Degree in Finance or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Qualifications 2-5 years of related finance & accounting experience, with emphasis on financial systems administration.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Candidate must be a self-started and able to work in a team environment; must possess good written and verbal communication skills, as well as good organizational skills to manage high volumes of data and communications; must also possess strong data systems knowledge, such as accelerated Microsoft Excel skills, and accessing data through OBIEE and other systems as required.
