The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for engineering, system availability and reliability for SQL, web, network monitoring, and portal servers supporting HQ Tampa and CFH locations.

It is required that the Lead Software Engineer has the following qualifications:

    Demonstrates experience managing diverse technical teams in the design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise systems and applications. Demonstrates experience with the design and implementation of a COOP program located at an alternate site.Demonstrates experience as a developer using the following languages: C#, SQL, ASP, .NET, VB, JAVA scripts, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and dynamic HyperText Markup Language (HTML).Demonstrates experience developing web-based reports using SQL Reporting Services.Knowledge of web policies stated in OSD Web Site Administration, DoD Instruction 5230.29, DoD Directives 5230.9 and 5200.40.Knowledge of cyber Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGS) for web applications and databases.Knowledgeable on Team Foundation Server (TFS).Knowledge of backup and recovery systems used to recover web application servers.Demonstrates experience in SharePoint, including architecture and configuration, and best practices.
It is desired that the Lead Software Engineer has the following qualifications:

    Knowledge of virtual server environments hosting web and database services.Demonstrates experience in architecture development. Demonstrates experience managing application development projects in a military Joint Service Environment.
Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 

Combatant Command experience required.

Qualifications 5-8 years of related software development experience.

 The Lead Software Engineer should be able to demonstrate experience with the following:
